Don’t Ignore your Symptoms
After ignoring many symptoms for about a year, I was finally advised by my doctor that I should have a colonoscopy to “rule out colon cancer.” After my proceedure I was told I had colon cancer. I am a 35 year old, single mother who had never even thought about this disease until I leared I had it. I have had surgery to remove the majority of my colon and doing very well now. I was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer but fortunatly will not need chemo or radiation. Thankfully I followed my doctors recommendation and had the colonoscopy when I did.
