My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 62 and died from it at 63. At what age should my 3 sons get their first screening done?

We are so sorry for your loss. Individuals who have a family history of colorectal cancer need to be screened earlier than age 50. They should talk to their health care providers about screening method and frequency. Colorectal cancer if detected early can be treated successfully. For more information, visit the Colon Cancer Resources page of this site http://screeningsaves.org/resources/.
